01

Budget and getting started

What shapes your investment, project scope and timeline.

How much does a business system or website cost in Nicaragua?

Cost depends on features, design, users, integrations and content. An informational website has a different scope from an inventory system or an app with payments. Before quoting, we define what development includes and which expenses recur. The proposal should specify the currency, applicable taxes and payment terms.

What do I need to request a software or app quote?

Describe your business, the problem you want to solve and who will use the solution. Examples of current processes, essential features and an idea of budget and target date are helpful. Start with a summary without sensitive information; do not submit passwords or customer databases through the contact form.

How long does it take to develop a website or custom system?

Timing depends on scope and the availability of content, reviews and integrations. An informational website generally involves less work than a platform with roles, reports and payments. We agree on stages and deliverables after reviewing requirements; we cannot commit to a delivery date without understanding the project.

Can I start with a small version and add features later?

Yes. We can define an initial version with essential features, often called a minimum viable product or MVP. It lets you test the core workflow with users before investing in additional functionality. Later stages can be prioritized based on results, architecture and available budget.

02

Business systems and apps

Choosing a solution that fits your operations and users.

Can you build an inventory, sales, booking or customer management system?

These are needs we can assess for custom development. We first review your processes, such as products and stock, branches, permissions, orders, appointments or reporting. This helps identify the necessary features. Invoicing or other regulated documents require a specific scope review and do not imply automatic certification.

Does my business need a mobile app or a web application?

It depends on how customers or staff will use it. A web application runs in a phone or computer browser. A mobile app may be appropriate for device-specific features or app store distribution. We review those requirements before recommending an approach; App Store or Google Play publication requires accounts, reviews and potentially external fees.

Can my system connect to Excel, WhatsApp or other tools?

We can assess spreadsheet imports and integrations with APIs or external services. Feasibility depends on formats, documentation and available permissions. WhatsApp and other platforms may require business accounts, approval and usage fees. These conditions are reviewed before an integration is included in the scope.

Can you improve or replace an existing system?

We first review the technology, documentation, authorized access to the code and data export options. This helps determine whether to improve the system or build a replacement in stages. Migration should include backups, data tests and a transition plan; original information should not be overwritten without verification.

03

Websites, sales and visibility

Domains, hosting, payments and a digital presence for local and international customers.

Why do I need a website if my business already uses Facebook or Instagram?

Social platforms help people discover your business and contact you. A website lets you organize your services, publish your own information, receive inquiries and offer features beyond a social post. It can complement social media and WhatsApp. Whether you need one depends on your goals; a website alone does not guarantee sales.

Are the domain and hosting included in development?

They should be itemized in the proposal. The domain is your website address, while hosting is where it runs. Both can have renewals, limits and additional charges, as can business email. If you already have these services, we review compatibility before recommending changes and agree on who manages the accounts.

Can I accept online payments from Nicaragua and other countries?

Integration depends on the bank or payment provider and your business account. Availability in Nicaragua, currencies, merchant requirements, fees and technical documentation need to be reviewed. We can assess an integration, but merchant approval rests with the provider. Card information should be processed through its authorized mechanisms.

Will my website appear on Google and attract international customers?

Clear structure, useful content, good performance and pages in your customers’ languages help search engines understand your website. We can prepare that technical foundation and Search Console tracking. Google determines indexing and rankings; we cannot guarantee a first-place result or a number of inquiries or sales.

04

Delivery, support and collaboration

What to agree on for access, maintenance, data and remote work.

Who will own the code, domain and project accounts?

Ownership and usage rights should be documented in the proposal or contract. This should cover source code, repositories, documentation, access and third-party licenses. Domain and external service accounts also need a defined owner. Do not assume that a third-party license allows all of its rights to be transferred.

What happens after launch? Is maintenance included?

Before work begins, we agree on deliverables and how post-launch issues are handled. Maintenance may include updates, backups and reviews; new features may need a separate scope. Coverage, hours, response times and costs should be defined. Not every development project includes ongoing support or round-the-clock availability.

How is my company and customer information protected?

Requirements should be reviewed based on the information the system handles. They may include user permissions, encrypted connections, backups, credential management and updates. Security also depends on operations and external providers; no system can promise zero risk. Avoid sharing confidential information before agreeing on an appropriate channel and necessary access.

Do you only work in Managua, or also in other cities and countries?

Drunic works from Nicaragua and can coordinate remote projects with businesses across the country and international clients. We can communicate in Spanish or English, share progress and arrange remote reviews. Hours, responsibilities, deliverables and communication channels are defined for each project; you do not need to be in Managua to start a conversation.
